Coding@Schools, an initiative of the
National Malaysian Blue Ocean
Strategy (NBOS) aims to introduce
young children to the world of
computing and programming. This
program, designed and coordinated
by the National Strategy Unit,

Ministry of Finance in cooperation
with the Ministry of Education and
the State Education Department
encourages them to become creators
and contributors to the Internet.

As part of their program, three
hundred (300) students including
teachers from the Coding@Schools
visited CDC. Among the topics
focused on were; ‘Coding- Areas of
specialty’ and ‘Career as a coder’.
