Government procurement or public procurement refers to the purchase made by government agencies to acquire goods, services, and works. In Malaysia, government agencies are required to procure goods and services through ePerolehan, a web-based procurement system that connects the agencies to a pool of supplier companies from across the country. These supplier companies must be verified and registered under the Ministry of Finance (MoF) in order to acquire the licence to offer their products and services to government agencies and participate in government tenders via ePerolehan.
